Art Lesson — Creating the Art Lesson
**Positive Outcomes**
Creating an art lesson is also important before starting the art activity. This can be done in the following steps:
1. **Understand the needs of the child** by observing them closely.
2. **Determine the prerequisites and aims** of the art activity.
3. **Plan the exercise** — gather a clear sequence in your mind.
4. **Collect all the necessary materials** for the exercise.
5. **Create and practice the exercise** yourself first.
6. **Present the exercise** to the child slowly, with minimal words.
A well-prepared art lesson invites the child in. A poorly prepared one frustrates them. The adult's preparation is the silent foundation of the child's creative freedom.
