**Introduction to Basic Anatomical Concepts**
Through carefully chosen activities, the birth and life cycle of different organisms can be explained to the child. For example, printables can be used to explain the **lifecycle of a butterfly** or the **stages of a chicken's development**.
**Sorting Activities** — sorting living vs. non-living things, vertebrates vs. invertebrates, or animals by habitat. Sorting is the first scientific skill: it teaches classification.
**Introduction to Different Animal Habitats** — matching cards that pair animals to where they live (ocean, forest, desert, polar regions). The child learns geography and biology at once.
