Important Changes in the RBT Task List
The BACB has refined the RBT Task List across several domains:
• Measurement — "Describe behavior and environment in observable and measurable terms" was moved from the Assessment section to the Measurement section.
• Skill Acquisition — "Implement stimulus fading procedures" was removed, and "Implement token economy procedures" was added. The item on using contingencies of reinforcement (conditioned/unconditioned, continuous/intermittent schedules) was retained.
• Documentation and Reporting — "Effectively communicate with supervisor" was updated to "Effectively communicate with a supervisor in an ongoing manner," emphasizing continuous, concise communication.
• Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice — Item F-01 was updated to add "Describe the BACB's RBT supervision requirements."
